Our boardwalk hike will provide a great view of bog and fern habitats. There are no bathrooms at Thomas Darling. Sturdy footwear is recommended. The walk is appropriate for children of all ages. Dogs on leash are welcome. Bring hiking poles or a walking stick. Bring binoculars and/or camera for wildlife and wildflower observations. Directions: Take I-476 N to Exit 95. Turn left onto Route 940 E. Travel 6.4 miles on Rt. 940 to the traffic light at Blakeslee at Route 115 and turn left onto Rt. 115 N. Travel 1.1 miles on Rt. 115 to Burger Road on the right. Follow Burger Road for 0.8 miles to the dirt parking lot on the right at entrance to Thomas Darling Preserve.  There are other hiking trails in the area so you could make a whole day of your visit to the Poconos.
